My heartfelt thanks to all of you who offered me comfort last week. I truly appreciate it and it meant the world to me. Larry’s service was one of laughter and tears. I think he would have looked at all of us sniffling, crying and smiling and uttered on of his favorite lines: “What? Are you nuts?”

Lost my wife of 38 years over 10 years ago. Still ‘look’ for her in my mind’s eye every day. I asked a widowed friend if the pain every goes away. He replied, “No, but in time hopefully you will learn to manage it.” He was right.

John, you are too kind. I cried some good tears over the weekend and every now and then I think of Larry and feel sad. But he had a great, long life and left those of us who were part of his family with pieces of his heart and lots of wisdom. I will miss him forever.
