I think the brown one will evoke a feeling and provide aid to the imagination of readers. The blue one is rather too bright. If I may suggest another variation, a darker hue of blue (as the sky is, late in the evening) would provide a good mix of what one could get from both these covers. It’d then neither be too dull nor too bright. Hope this helps.
The blue one, shows off the hand better but the other one is representative of md from top to bottom.. clever
