We spent last weekend in Maine, so I could sell books at Sherman’s book store during the Pumpkin Festival. Ten thousand people there the first day, and I sold two cartons of books, maybe 50 or 60 in all. A great selling day!
Not to mention the carved pumpkins. Here are a few of my favorites!
And of course, we ate lobster: lobster rolls, twin whole lobsters, lobster nachos, lobster ravioli, you name it. The last night I had fish!
And lastly, great leaf color!
Book sales AND pumpkins! (So jealous…)
And lobsters – a perfect combo!
Wow to all of this, Noelle! Congratulations on a great book sale. And those are some impressive pumpkin carvings! Happy Fall – I wish it would get a little cooler here.
I’ve been running around in Plymouth this week – also WARM!
Well it looks very fall-ish in your pics at least! 🍁🍂🎃
It sounds like a wonderful time. You kicked but with the book sale and the pumpkins are amazing! I would love to dine on Maine lobster. Hubby and I are planning a trip to Maine next fall. Still undecided what part of the state but it would be cool to coordinate it with a book/pumpkin festival!
Check out the dates for the Damariscotta Pumpkin Festival next year, MC! You can take a nice ride along the coast, eat lobsster, scaloops and oyssters- the oysters are fabulous. I might see you there!
Sounds wonderful! I’m going to have to look into that. And it would be cool to see you at the Festival 🙂
It sounds/looks wonderful. And congrats on the big book sell… And it coincided with the day my first gourd seeds popped out of the ground!!
Cause for a double celebration!
Awesome! 🎃 xo
Thanks, Bette. Pumpkin time!
What a great idea! I ought to get my act together to take my books to the guinea pig shows…
Absolutely, dear!
Those pumpkins look epic! Whenever I have tried my own it looks like my inner 5 year old has taken over!
The local artists have talent and imagination!
